LOWE IS BACK WITH THE NEW SYNTH-DISCO ALBUM "EVOLVER"!
The Swedish electronic pop-noir trio LOWE is back with their third album Evolver. Their latest single Breathe In Breathe Out went straight to #1 on iTunes Alternative Charts in Sweden. The new album Evolver will be released on September 13th. In October LOWE is going on their second US-tour to promote the new album. LOWE is currently based in Stockholm and Berlin.

With the success of Breathe In Breathe Out in the Spring, the much-anticipated new album Evolver will be released worldwide on September 13th.

- Evolver is our darkest album so far, says Leo Josefsson, lead singer in LOWE.

- A mixture of mono-synths and disco balls, bass player Rickard Gunnarsson explains.

- It was time to discover new territories. We've been experimenting a lot with the sound and the songs even though Evolver is our most homo-genic album to date, says keyboardist Tobias Ersson.

STUM - NEW SIGNING AT MEGAHYPE!
The electropop band Stum was formed in 1999 by David Engdahl and Daniel Sidevärn. They grew up together in the stern and cold northern city of Östersund in Sweden and began to write music together for therapeutic reasons.

Stum was originally a hard EBM-act under the name "Industrijugend", but when they wrote a synth ballad the music style changed towards electropop.
In connection to the change of music they also switched the band name to the more suiting "Stum".

The first single, from the debut EP Extra Play (release April 27), is an electropop version of Kings of Leon's grammy nominated #1 hit Sex on Fire.

Stum's debut EP Extra Play will be released on Megahype Wednesday April 27, 2011.

The North American part of the LOWE Evolver Tour consists of 9 dates throughout northeastern USA and Canada.

”Mirage” - A new dark spark from Lowe
Mirage is the highly awaited new single from Lowe. The song is a dark electronic pop track with a disco beat. "ABBA meets DAF in a darkroom while Bowie and Kylie are sharing a bottle of Soviet champagne in the bar", says Rickard (bass guitar). The release contains a single version, a pounding remix by Swedish EBM-band Dupont and a classic 12" extended mix. The music style is "pop noir", a mix between electronic rhythms, melancholic harmonies and throbbing electric bass. "Synth for dandies and dandizettes ", clarifies Tobias (synthesizer).

Mirage is the first part of Lowe's upcoming album concept Evolver which will be released track by track during 2010. "The idea behind Evolver is that the album will grow over time, as we'll release the songs separately when they are finished", explains Leo (vocals). "The music will be transforming and shifting as we experiment in the studio and play live with our new material", he continues.

Mirage is available from March 17, 2010 on iTunes, Spotify, Amazon or your favourite digital distributor. The video for Mirage will follow in April.

NEW MEMBER & NEW SINGLE FROM LOWE
In June, Sweden's knights of noir LOWE, will release their third album.

Tobias Ersson, who co-produced LOWE's previous album "Kino International", is now also a full time member after massive touring in the Balkans, Eastern Europe and Russia.

The first single "Mirage", a floorfilling dark electronic disco hit, will be released March 17.

The Mobiles Homes' latest album "Today is Your Lucky Day", which was a huge success in Scandinavia, will be released in the rest of Europe on Friday the 19th of February.

After 25 years (!) as a band, The Mobiles Homes return with style with their 8th album "Today is Your Lucky Day", which got amazing reviews and was pointed out as #1 album by the Swedish press.

With "Today is Your Lucky Day" the band return to their 80's synthesizers to create a timeless electronic pop album together with producer Sami Sirviö from Kent (Sweden's most successful rock band ever!).

RUPESH CARTEL WITH NEW SINGLE ON TAPE!
Rupesh Cartel will release their new album Anchor Baby early , and claim they have solved the problem with illegal downloads!

"We were damn fed up with the fact that our previous album leaked before its release. This time we made the impossible possible. The whole album has been mixed to tape and locked in a safe place", says singer Viktor Ginner.

The exception is the new single Oh No Oh No! (release November 5). It's a fantastic smash hit that will spread all over the world faster than the plague. The single includes remixes by Code 64, Iris and Pulce, plus a bonus track.

Lowe’s music is in the veins of The Cure, Marilyn Manson, New Order and Depeche Mode. The band likes to call it “pop noir”, which is somewhere in-between pop, electro and indie.

The band has become very successful in Eastern Europe, where they have toured a lot, and has appeared on a number of large TV- and radio shows. The debut album “Tenant” earned them the prize for “Best Newcomer” at Scandinavian Alternative Music Awards.

CARBOMB at MEGAHYPE!
Today, Sunday morning at 06.57, a carbomb exploded right outside the Megahype (home of artists like Lowe, Rupesh Cartel, The Mobile Homes and Rezonance) office in the centre of Stockholm. The explosion was massive and the entire area was evacuated.

"It's probably someone that's trying to sabotage our upcoming album (Kino International), something similar happened when we were finishing the last album." says Lowe's singer Leo with a tired smile. "Strange enough, today we were supposed to mix the last track on the album", continues bass-player Rickard.

Bombtechnicians have secured the area, and the police are now investigating the attack
