LOWE'S NEW ALBUM "KINO INTERNATIONAL" OUT NOW!
– The songs are more upbeat and varied, and will attract a whole new audience. But we still sound like “Lowe”, and old fans will love it as well, says lead vocalist Leo
Lowe’s music is in the veins of The Cure, Marilyn Manson, New Order and Depeche Mode. The band likes to call it “pop noir”, which is somewhere in-between pop, electro and indie.
– “Kino International” travels through heartfelt bombastic landscapes, and it oozes sex, death and decadence, adds bass player Rickard.
The band has become very successful in Eastern Europe, where they have toured a lot, and has appeared on a number of large TV- and radio shows. The debut album “Tenant” earned them the prize for “Best Newcomer” at Scandinavian Alternative Music Awards.
– We worked long and hard to get this album as good as we could. ”Fillers” are nothing we believe in, so every track had to be considered as a single, keyboardist Mehdi sums up.
The first single “A 1000 Miles” is out now and is already on radio, online and TV rotation. Available on iTunes.

A 1000 Miles later!
Lowe are now finished with their last mixing session and the new album "Kino International" is finally ready!
”Since 'Tenant' was released in 2004 we have been touring a lot and in 2006 we started writing the songs for the new album. A lot have happened in our lives, but now we're back stronger than ever", says singer Leo.
The release date for "Kino International" is set to May 30th, and in late April the first single "A 1000 Miles" will be available for download.

NEW HOME FOR THE MOBILE HOMES
Megahype are proud to announce that after 24 years of driving around, The Mobile Homes have finally found their permanent parking space at Megahype!
"Megahype was our obvious choice, since no other label can give us the space and attention we need.", says lead singer Hans Erkendal.
In May, the band will release their new single "Close", produced by Sami Sirviö from Swedish band Kent. Demon producer Christian Falk is busy with producing the upcoming album.

CARBOMB at MEGAHYPE!
Today, Sunday morning at 06.57, a carbomb exploded right outside the Megahype (home of artists like Lowe, Rupesh Cartel, The Mobile Homes and Rezonance) office in the centre of Stockholm. The explosion was massive and the entire area was evacuated.
"It's probably someone that's trying to sabotage our upcoming album (Kino International), something similar happened when we were finishing the last album." says Lowe's singer Leo with a tired smile. "Strange enough, today we were supposed to mix the last track on the album", continues bass-player Rickard.
Bombtechnicians have secured the area, and the police are now investigating the attack

HALF WAY THERE, 500 MILES TO GO...
Lowe are still busy in the studio working on the new album "Kino International". Rickard broke his arm which has delayed the recordings, but he's now back at full capacity. 5 songs are produced, additional 15 songs have been choosen and the best will make it to the album. This weekend the band is gonna shoot the video for the upcoming single "A 1000 Miles" which soon will see the daylight.
500 Miles to go, but soon you will see the new album in the horizon!

Lowe are currently in the studio working on their long awaited 2nd album "Kino International".
The recordings are going really well, and they're hoping for a release in October.

RUPESH CARTEL, REZONANCE & LOWE WITH NEW RELEASES!
Megahype proudly presents Rupesh Cartel's first singel "Ghost White" from the new album "The Disco And The What Not" (release Spring 2007). "Ghost White" is bittersweet popdynamite for the addictive dancer as well as the escapist who momentarily wants to hide into a mellow mist of emotions.
Additionally, Rezonance follow up with the third single "Cold Heart" from their debut album "Black Filters". "Cold Heart" will not make their fans disappointed. It´s a bombastic and intense song that will be a mood maker in many alternative living rooms and clubs.
Lowe's fifth (5!) single "My Song" from the debut album "Tenant" has been delayed due to technical problems. Lowe just came back from a two week tour in Ukraine and Poland and the interest for the band were overwhelming. The band made interviews with 7 of their TV-channels and the national show "24 News" made a special about the band.
All three bands will perform live on the releaseparty called Meganight at the O-bar in Stockholm on the 6th of December, the official releasedate for all 3 singles.

LOWE RELEASES "MY SONG" AS THE FIFTH (5) SINGLE!
Lowe is going really well in Eastern Europe and "My Song" will be released as the fifth (5) official single from the debut album "Tenant".
"My Song" is the most catchy, electronic and heartfelt song from the band till date and is about to gain Lowe even more recognition.
The video is based on old Super 8 footage from 1966 of singer Leo's parents wedding and the song is dedicated to his beloved mother that tradically passed away last year.
The single contains five previously unreleased tracks including remixes from Mafia Mike, Rupesh Cartel & Minerve, and will be released in early September.

RUPESH CARTEL SIGNS WITH MEGAHYPE!
We're very proud to announce that Swedish band Rupesh Cartel has joined Megahype!
Rupesh Cartel plays catchy, danceable electro pop, a mixture of electro house, 80's and futurepop.
In 2004 the band released their debute album Mainland in the US which generated an enthusiastic crowd of fans within the synthpop genre.
Leadsinger Viktor has, besides from Rupesh Cartel, worked with Swedish artist Tiger Lou and co-produced Firefox AK.
The new album will be released early 2007. |

NEW SINGLE AND VIDEO FROM REZONANCE!
Rezonance's new single Over the Skyline is now available digitally at iTunes Music Store for example. Except for the single version, two highly interesting remixes can also be enjoyed.
Over the Skyline was released in Poland, Hungary and Czech Republic last week and is already played on primetime by MTV Poland (through European Network), TVP-1, Channel 1 and 4FunTV. Many of the big radio channels such as Eska Rock and Radio PIK also play the single.
Over the Skyline is Rezonance's second single from the debutalbum Black Filters that was released in Eastern Europe in the beginning of March and it has already gained a lot of recognition. On the 14th of May Rezonance will play live in Stettin, Poland, but already on the 6th of April you can see them perform in Stockholm at Carpe Noctem. |

Lowe will go on tour to Russia April 6-11 to play live in Moscow, Cerepovec, Vologda and S:t Petersburg. Then they will continue on to Stettin and Warzaw in Poland, where their debutalbum ”Tenant” and the two first singles ”The Vanishing” and ”Ahead of Our Time” are on high rotation on radio and TV. |

LOWE ON A-ROTATION AND LIVE IN POLAND
Since the release of "Tenant" in Poland, Hungary and Czech Republic in November 2005 both "The Vanishing" and "Ahead of Our Time" has been on high rotation both on TV and radio over there. The album is going really well and the special 2-disc limited digipak was sold out in two weeks! There are still some copies left at the Megahype Store though!
"The reviews have been overwhelming and you could say that a breakthrough in eastern Europe is happening for us." says Rickard. Leo continues "We've started working on the follow up to "Tenant" and there's already around 20 songs that we're picking from. I don't think our fans will be disappointed." "We're going to Poland for promotion and at the same time we'll shoot the new video for "Simplicity" in Warzaw. We really look forward to that!" Mehdi sums up.

The club is called Glamorama and is hosted by Johan Kinde (Lustans Lakejer) and Anders Ljung (Space Age Baby Jane).
Lowe will go on stage around midnight, and be sure to be there on time cause it will be really crowded! |

REZONANCE'S DEBUTALBUM HAS ARRIVED!
Rezonance has been playing together since 1999 and now their debutalbum "Black Filters" is finally here! Their music can be described as a mixture of rock, alternative pop and electronic music such as Recoil, Nine Inch Nails and Massive Attack. The female singer and songwriter Josephine Danes has a very special voice that makes you think of Goldfrapp and Björk. The keyboard player Tobias Ersson used to play in the cult electronic band Enemy Alliance together with Eric Prydz ("Call on Me") and Rickard Gunnarsson from Lowe.
The band has made several successful performances in the UK and Scandinavia.

We're happy to announce that Lowe will be released in eastern Europe!
First out are Poland, Czech Republic and Hungary. The debutalbum "Tenant" will be released on Vision Music on the 7th of November. In relation to this a major promotion campaign will be launched, including TV, radio, magazines and live performances.

Lowe - Newcomer of the year!
Lowe won the “Newcomer Of The Year” award at SAMA, Scandinavian Alternative Music Awards, which took place at Trädgårn in Gothenburg on May 13. Lowe was the only band that was nominated in three categories, “Newcomer Of The Year”, “Best Song” and “Best Album”. The winners were chosen through an online voting system. It was a very surprised but happy Lowe that entered the big stage at Trädgårn to receive the award. “This award feels really good because it is the people that choose the winner,” says singer Leo. “We’d really like to thank all our fans and everyone else that has voted for us”. Later that evening Lowe celebrated their victory by playing a live gig in front of a large and excited crowd. (2005-05-16) |

NEW RELEASES FROM LOWE AND JUNE SIX!
On Wednesday May 18 Lowe and debuting June Six will release singles on the independent record label Megahype Records.
Lowe's new single, "Simplicity", is the result of an unanimous vote by Lowe's fans, who were asked to choose which song should be the fourth single from the critically acclaimed debut album "Tenant". The release will consist of 6 tracks. There will be a special single version of "Simplicity", but also exclusive remixes by names such as Håkan Lidbo and Fredrik Skeppholm.
Swedish electropop artist June Six will release her debut single, "Never Never", which is an upbeat version of The Assembly's old hit from the 80's (one of Vince Clarke's early bands). The single will also contain a dance remix by Lowe member Mehdi Bagherzadeh, and a progressive mix by Johan Fotmeier. June Six can otherwise be described as sophisticated electronic pop a la Kylie and Kim Wilde.
On Saturday May 7 both acts celebrated their releases at the club 80's at Kolingsborg in Stockholm. The evening offered exclusive live appearances and give-aways in the form of records and t-shirts. |

LOWE AT THE ROYAL SWEDISH OPERA
The video for Lowe's single "Ahead of Our Time" was shot at the Royal Swedish Opera. This was the first time ever that a pop-band has been permitted to record a music-video at the famous opera located in the middle of Stockholm.
The "Ahead of Our Time”-video stars Lowe and model Jenny Tyrsing in a story about love and seduction taking place at the beautiful Royal Swedish Opera, culminating in a grande finale with the band performing on the main stage! |
