ARTISTS RUPESH CARTEL Rupesh Cartel plays catchy, danceable and thoughtful electro pop, a mixture of electro house, 80's and futurepop. Viktor Ginner and Daniel Gustafsson spoke for the first time back in the late nineties. By coincidence they started talking one night in the roaring club life of small Swedish town Nyköping. When the bar closed that same evening the two lads had decided to make music together. In 2004 the band released their debut album "Mainland" in the US which generated an enthusiastic crowd of fans within the synthpop genre. With their second album the duo aims for a European audience as well. Viktor Ginner, songwriter and frontman in the band, has previously worked with Swedish act Tiger Lou. Moreover, Viktor co-produced Firefox AK’s debute album "Madame Madame".
